Opening on the 27th July, the exhibition will bring together a number of artists who have had a residency at the gallery over the last two years.

Although each of the artists have their own unique style and distinct practises, all of them have wanted to explore and question the nature of paint as a material and from this found themselves at Griffin Gallery working with Laboratory technicians to get closer to the answers they seek.

The In Residency project at the gallery invites proposals from any practising artist who will be offered space, materials and specialised knowledge to develop projects focused on the interaction, composition or application of Fine Art materials or on another activity in the Studio Building. Each proposal is assessed on their innovative nature and viability.

Artists taking part in the In Residence exhibition include: Ayelet Amrani Navon, Corrie Baldauf, Mike Ballard, Jean Charles Bureau, Mark Connolly, Adam Dix, Louise Giovanelli, Beatrice Haines, Sam Hodge, Yva Jung, Antoine Langenieux-Villard, Joanne Newman, Claire Nicolet, Jack Otway, Thomas Platt, Piers Secunda, Odilia Suanzes and  Jose Luis Valverde.

The In Residence exhibition will take place at the Griffin Gallery from the 27th July until the 25th August. For more information about the exhibition and the artists taking part visit: https://griffingallery.co.uk/exhibitions/in-residence
