The theatre’s 2017 pantomime will play at the venue from the 30th November until the 7th January.
In a land far away, lived a bright and beautiful young woman. Her life becomes in danger when she is taken prisoner by a hideous Beast in his castle. Will she escape? Will the Beast be able to find true love and break his terrible curse?
You’ll enjoy booing the baddie, cheering your hero and laughing along with the hilarious Dame as you join the adventure to see if love really can conquer all.
Filled with songs such as Call Me Maybe (Carly Rae Jepson), Shut Up And Dance With Me (Walk The Moon), Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Cyndi Lauper), Bat Out Of Hell (Meatloaf), Here I Go Again (Whitesnake), the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch’s 2017 pantomime will entertain children of all ages.
Beauty and the Beast has been created by the same team of last year’s smash-hit spectacular Cinderella. It has been written by Andrew Pollard, directed by Martin Berry, with set and costume design by Keith Orton, lighting by Prema Mehta and sound by James Cook.
Meanwhile, the cast is set to include Oliver Beamish, William Brand, Molly-Grace Cutler, James Lawrence, Oliver Lynes, Sarah Mahoney, Holly Mallett, Daniella Piper and Al Twist. They will be supported by a talented Young Company, a cast of 30 local schoolchildren.
Audiences can boo the wicked witch Spite, giggle at the hilarious travelling sweet seller Dame Betty Bonbon and join in Charlie Cupid’s silly matchmaking games in this new pantomime which has plenty of audience participation!
