A new musical production based on the hit 1977 film will open at the New Wimbledon Theatre on the 30th August.

Saturday Night Fever

Marking the 40th anniversary since the film’s UK release Saturday Night Fever has been reimagined for a brand new UK tour, travelling across the country later this year.

Featuring all of the classic hits from the film including ‘Staying Alive’ and ‘How Deep is Your Love’, this new production will open at London’s New Wimbledon Theatre before travelling to Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol, Aylesbury, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Llandudno and Cardiff – with more dates to be added.

With casting yet to be announced, the musical is set to feature more music and more choreography than when the show last toured in 2014.

The musical originally debuted at the London Palladium in 1998 with Adam Garcia as Tony – the role which was originally played by John Travolta in the film.

Saturday Night Fever tells the story of Tony Manero, and his reckless, yet thrilling road to dancing success. It features the Bee Gees greatest hits including Stayin’ Alive, How Deep Is Your Love, Night Fever, Tragedy and More Than a Woman as well as 70’s favourites Boogie Shoes, Disco Inferno and many more.

Saturday Night Fever will open at the New Wimbledon Theatre on the 30th August before embarking on a UK tour. To book tickets visit ATG Tickets
