The show began performances at the Shaftesbury Theatre in 2019.

It has been announced that the musical featuring the music of Max Martin is set to have its final performance at the Shaftesbury Theatre on the 25th March 2023. However, it was also confirmed that new productions of the musical are set to open in New York and Melbourne, with a UK tour to be announced.
& Juliet originally opened at the Manchester Opera House in October 2019. It transferred to London the following month and ever since has played to nightly standing ovations. As well as three Olivier Awards, & Juliet also won six Whatsonstage Awards – the most of any production in 2020 – and won further awards at The Black Theatre Awards and The Mousetrap Theatre Awards.
The musical contains many of the biggest and most anthemic songs of the last 30 years, including Baby One More Time, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back), Love Me Like You Do, Confident, It’s My Life, Can’t Feel My Face and the roof-raising Roar.
Romeo & Juliet final scene. Juliet picks up the dagger and….gets a life. A timely and timeless tale of one independent young woman, & Juliet is a riotous comic blast of fun and glorious pop music that proves when it comes to love, there’s always life after Romeo…
The musical is directed by Luke Sheppard with a book by David West Read (Schitt’s Creek), choreography by Jennifer Weber, set design by Soutra Gilmour and costume design by Paloma Young.
& Juliet continues to play at the Shaftesbury Theatre. You can book your tickets here.
