We chatted to Jocasta about starring as Rizzo in Grease at the Dominion Theatre.
Hi Jocasta, how did it feel to be returning to ‘Grease’? Fantastic! I feel unbelievably lucky to be reviving this role.
For those who haven’t seen it yet – what can they expect from this production? It’s the perfect theatre night out. It has ups and downs, with lots of joy and all the classic songs we all
love.
What do you love the most about playing Rizzo? She is so fierce and sexy but underneath it all she is vulnerable and that is so fun to play with.
What for you makes ‘Grease’ a special musical? We can all relate to it because we have all been teenagers.
What have you enjoyed the most about being part of this musical? I’ve enjoyed being able to show people that there is a bit more to Rizzo than they thought.
