This New Year’s Eve Pivot Bar & Bistro, based in a restored townhouse, 3 Henrietta Street, overlooking the iconic Covent Garden piazza – will be serving up a 7-course tasting menu to celebrate the occasion.
The 7-course tasting menu has been created by award-winning chef, Mark Greenaway and will stay true to the bistro’s signature style by featuring quintessential British cuisine, honouring fresh and seasonal ingredients to create exceptional and unique dishes, while to help get celebrations going guests will receive a complimentary glass of prosecco on arrival.
To begin with, the menu will open with an amuse bouche Mini Beetroot Croustade topped with Blue Cheese Mousse and Walnuts, before moving onto the likes of Scallops with Miso Butter and Black Tuile, Cod drizzled in a Mussels Cream and topped with Fried Capers, as well as Beef Fillet served alongside Truffle Mash and a red wine sauce. Meanwhile, guests will be able to cleanse the palate with a refreshing Elderflower Sorbet, before tucking into a Chocolate Dome concealing a Berry Chocolate Mousse, all unveiled with a sticky Toffee Sauce.
Pivot will be hosting two sittings for the tasting menu with the first sitting being held at 6PM until 8PM and the second sitting from 8:30PM until 1AM. The first sitting is priced at just £80 per person, while the second sitting is £125 per person.
