NEWS: Rehearsal Images for Cabaret Released As New Cast Members Join the Production

Actress and model Cara Delevingne will play ‘Sally Bowles’, Olivier Award-winning actor Luke Treadaway will play ‘The Emcee and Michael Ahomka-Lindsay will play ‘Clifford Bradshaw’ in the critically acclaimed production from the 11th March 2024.

New rehearsal images have been released for Rebecca Frecknall’s production which will see the trio joining the cast from next Monday. The cast for this unique production of the musical also stars Beverley Klein as Fraulein Schneider, Teddy Kempner as Herr Schultz, Wilf Scolding as Ernst Ludwig and Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie. Nic Myers plays the role of Sally Bowles once a week.

The company for Cabaret is completed by Liv Alexander as Texas, Natalie Chua as Frenchie, Taite-Elliot Drew as Hans, Damon Gould as Victor, El Haq Latief as Helga, and Travis Ross as Bobby, joining Laura Delany as Rosie, Grant Neal as Herman/Max and Hicaro Nicolai as Lulu. Rebecca Lisewski, Ela Lisondra, Nic Myers, Andy Rees, Toby Turpin and Patrick Wilden also star in the show.

Meanwhile, the prologue company are: Rachel Benson, Ami Benton, Onyemachi Ejimofor, Joseph Hardy, Liz Kamille, Andrew Linnie, Aine McLoughlin, Jack William Parry, Jazmyn Raikes, Oliver Stockley and Ena Yamaguchi.

This production of Cabaret opened in December 2021, going onto win seven Olivier Awards at the 2022 ceremony as well as three prestigious Critics Circle Awards and the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Design for designer Tom Scutt. The Broadway production starring Eddie Redmayne and Gayle Rankin will open at the Kit Kat Club at the August Wilson Theatre in April.

Cabaret is based on the play by John van Druten, stories by Christopher Isherwood and features a book by Joe Masteroff. It features music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb and includes songs such as ‘Maybe This Time’, ‘Wilkommen’ and ‘Money’.

The creative team behind the musical includes: set and costume design by Tom Scutt  and choreography by Julia Cheng. Musical supervision is by Jennifer Whyte and musical direction is by Ben Ferguson with lighting design by Isabella Byrd and sound design by Nick Lidster. The casting director is Stuart Burt and the associate director is Jordan Fein.
