NEWS: Ramin Karimloo & Hadley Fraser to Lead Cast of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels in Concert

The concert performances will take place at the London Palladium at 2:30pm & 7:30pm on the 24th November.

It has been announced that West End stars Ramin Karimloo and Hadley Fraser will lead the cast for the upcoming concert production, marking the 20th anniversary since Dirty Rotten Scoundrels musical premiered at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego. They will be playing Freddy Benson and  Laurence Jamieson respectively.

Directed by Rupert Hands, the cast is also set to include: Carly Mercedes Dyer as ‘Christine Colgate’; Janie Dee as Muriel Eubanks; Rufus Hound as ‘Inspector Andre’ and Lauren Drew as ‘Jolene Oaks’. 

Based on the 1988 hit movie – Fraser and Karimloo will go head to head this November to woo an heiress out of $50,000. With Hadley as the suave, smooth Laurence Jamieson and Ramin as the scrappy underdog, Freddy Benson.

The musical adaptation features a score by David Yazbek (The Full Monty) and a book by Jeffrey Lane. The 2005 Broadway adaptation was nominated staggering ten Tony Award, with the subsequent cast album nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album.
