NEWS: CORD To Collaborate With Bustronome for One Day Only

It has been confirmed that CORD the first fine dining restaurant by the culinary Cordon Bleu is set to take over Bustronome, London’s gourmet sightseeing experience to offer guests a unique opportunity to experience a London sightseeing tour while enjoying dining provided by the team from CORD.

Bustronome is a luxury double-decker bus converted to a fine-dining restaurant to offer panoramic views of London. For the pop-up, the bus will be bestowed with CORD’s striking navy branding to embark on a celebratory journey through the capital, taking in London’s iconic landmarks.

During the journey, guests will be able to enjoy a menu which has been created by CORD’s Executive Chef Karl O’Dell. Menu highlights are set to include: Scallop Ceviche with green mango, Szechuan pepper and chives, Rhug Estate Rack of Lamb with wild garlic yoghurt, gem lettuce, peas, and almonds and Brie de Meaux served with truffle, pecans, and honey. CORD’s Black Forest dessert will complete the culinary experience.

In addition to this, CORD’s sommelier Jiachen Lu has carefully selected a range of wines and non-alcoholic drinks to perfectly complement each dish and will be along for the ride to make personal recommendations for each guest.

This event is part of Le Cordon Bleu’s annual Summer Festival, celebrating the art of gastronomy at the institute’s Bloomsbury campus on Saturday 29th June. The CORD x Bustronome pop-up is available to book now, for a lunch service embarking at 12.15pm and dinner at 7.15pm from Bloomsbury Square.

The four-course lunch menu is priced £89 per person (£109 with wine pairings) and the six-course dinner menu is £149 per person (£179 with wine pairings).
