The festival returns from the 24th August until the 29th September.

Tête à Tête has announced the full line up for its Summer festival which returns to London next month.
The programme for this year’s festival will include confessions in a nail salon (The Manicurist), a tale of a horse-person (Horse Person Opera), groundbreaking and malevolent historic discoveries (Ciphers and Aqua Tofana), experiments of endurance and improvisation (12HOURS and The Improvesarios), and true accounts of
generational legacies and trauma (I Shot Mussolini and Letters).
Shows in the programme will take place at The Cockpit Theatre, Marylebone, with the exception of festival-opener The Prisoner (24 August), which takes place at the Royal College of Music’s Britten Theatre, 12 HOURS at King’s College, London (20 September), and #CAPITAL, which exists only in cyberspace!
The ideas of alternative realities and escapism are at the heart of this year’s festival, with Artistic Director Bill Bankes-Jones saying: “As life becomes ever more combative and our collective scars of recent trauma such asthe pandemic linger, it is ever more important to enter worlds of fantasy to explore not only possible futures for opera but also for ourselves and mankind as a whole.”
