The film is set to be released in cinemas on the 21st March 2025.
As part of D23, Disney have unveiled a teaser trailer for its upcoming live action adaptation of Snow White, heading to cinemas next year.
This newly released trailer offers a first glimpse of Rachel Zegler as the title role as well as Gal Gadot as the evil queen.
Directed by Marc Webb, this reimagining of the 1937 classic Disney film will also star Ansu Kabia stars as the Huntsman, with Andrew Burnap playing the new role of Jonathan. It will feature songs from the original film – but with additional ones written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the first film to be released by Disney and centres on Snow White who escapes the clutches of the evil queen who is jealous of her beauty that she orders the Huntsman to kill her. But when he doesn’t she escapes to a cottage where she meets and lives with seven dwarfs but of course the evil queen won’t stop at anything to destroy Snow White.
This new Snow White features a screenplay by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson, which is loosely based on the Brothers Grimm story.
