Review of Frankie Goes to Bollywood, Southbank Centre: we paid a visit to the Southbank Centre to catch Rifco Theatre’s musical that explores fame and its darker side. Hopefully, there will be a longer life to this musical which is a colourful spectacle as it is but could use a bit more depth in terms of the themes it explores.

Review of Cockfosters at the Turbine Theatre: this somewhat accurate and hilarious take on what can happen on a journey on the London Underground made a brief return – and a welcome one it was. With plenty of characters to meet (many of whome will be recognisable to anyone who has been on the tube) – it was an enjoyable way to spend an hour!
Review of Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Wives, National Portrait Gallery: discover what we thought of the NPG’s exhibition that seeks to highlight the individual personalities of Henry VIII’s wives and the impact that they had on the Tudor Court….

Review round up of The Grapes of Wrath at the National Theatre: we rounded up the reviews for Carrie Cracknell’s production based on John Steinbeck’s novel which continues to play at the National Theatre until the 14th September.

Review round up of A Chorus Line, Sadler’s Wells: the musical had a limited run in London as part of its current UK tour.

Review of The Friends Experience, London ExCel: for any fan of the classic comedy series this is a must-visit. While some of the replica sets might have a few differences that you might notice – it is still a thrill to find yourself completely immersing yourself in this world. Nostalgic and joyful it is a recommended visit.
Quick fire questions with…Lance Ellington: we chatted with Lance about appearing alongside the LP Swing Orchestra as part of their ‘At the Movies’ show at the Cadogan Hall on the 8th September.
