The singer has confirmed that the new album is set to be released next year.
It has been announced that Iggy Pop will be releasing a brand new live album “Live at Montreux Jazz Festival 2023” which will celebrate the singer’s career based on the performance that he gave at the Montreux Jazz Festival last year.
The performance saw him being backed by a seven piece band and included songs from his time with The Stooges, his Idiot and Lust for Life albums, New Values leading up to his recent release Every Loser. It also marked Pop’s third performance at the festival and his performance was recorded and filmed by the Montreux Jazz Festival team. The concert will be available as a Blu-ray+CD Digipak, 2 LP Gatefold, and digital download on January 24th, 2025 worldwide via earMUSIC.

Talking about the performance, Iggy Pop said: “I give something extra every time I do Montreux Jazz. In ’23 it was deep cuts like Mass Production, Endless Sea, Five Foot One and a hell of a lot of sweat.”
