The Modern Family star will join the production from the 10th February 2025.
It has been announced that Sarah Hyland will join the Broadway production of The Great Gatsby as Daisy Buchanan, replacing Eva Noblezada (who is set to star in the London production of Hadestown) in the musical adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald’s 1925 novella.
Transport yourself to the opulent world of the 1920s as one of the greatest American novels hits the greatest American stage.
This musical adaptation features music and lyrics by Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen as well as a book by Kait Kerrigan. It is directed by Marc Bruni with choreography by Dominique Kelley.
Hyland’s co-stars will include Ryan McCartan as Jay Gatsby, Noah J. Ricketts as Nick Carraway, Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, Sara Chase as Myrtle Wilson, John Zdrojeski as Tom Buchanan, Charlie Pollock as George Wilson, and Terrence Mann as Wolfsheim.
Meanwhile, the creative team also includes: scenic and projection design by Paul Tate dePoo III, costume design by Linda Cho, lighting design by Cory Pattak, sound design by Brian Ronan, hair and wig design by Charles G LaPointe and Rachael Geier, arrangements by Jason Howalnd, orchestrations by Howland and Kim Scharnberg, music direction by Daniel Edmonds, and music production by Billy Jay Stein for Strike Audio.
A London production of the musical will be heading to the London Coliseum next Summer, with casting yet to be announced.
