The musical adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald’s 1925 novel is set to begin performances at the London Coliseum on the 11th April, running until the 7th September.

Lead casting has now been announced for the London production of The Great Gatsby, which heads to the West End as the show continues to run on Broadway.
Featuring a book by Kait Kerrigan (The Mad Ones) and original score by Tony Award nominees Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen, the London production is set to star Jamie Muscato (Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812) , taking on the role of Jay Gatsby and Frances Mayli McCann (Bonnie & Clyde The Musical) as Daisy. Further West End casting has yet to be announced.
Meet mysterious millionaire, Jay Gatsby. He entertains the rich and famous with riotous parties at his Long Island mansion yet never joins in. Gatsby longs instead to reunite with his former flame Daisy Buchanan, but Daisy comes from another lifetime, long before the money…
Directed by Marc Bruni, the production is Dominique Kelley, with Tony Award-winning costume design by Linda Cho and Outer Critics Circle Award-winning scenic and projection design by Paul Tate de Poo III.
The creative team behind the production includes: lighting designer Cory Pattak, sound designer Brian Ronan, hair and wig designers Drama Desk Award winner Charles G LaPointe and Rachael Geier. Arrangements are by Jason Howland, orchestrations are by Howland and Kim Scharnberg and the music producer is Grammy Award winner Billy Jay Stein for Strike Audio.
