The production is set to open in the West End later this month.
Rehearsal images have now been released for the upcoming world premiere of American playwright and screenwriter Lila Raicek’s play My Master Builder, which will begin previews at the Wyndham’s Theatre from the 17th April.
Directed by Michael Grandage, the production is set to star Ewan McGregor, Elizabeth Debicki, Kate Fleetwood, David Ajala, and Mirren Mack.
On the eve of July 4th in the Hamptons, Elena Solness, a publishing magnate, is preparing to throw a party to celebrate her architect husband, Henry Solness, as he unveils his latest masterpiece. Their already vulnerable union is shattered by the unexpected arrival of Mathilde, a former student of Henry’s, with whom he previously shared an intimate connection. As the evening unfolds, each find themselves face to face with a reckoning that indelibly tilts the axis of their lives.
Meanwhile, the full creative team includes: set and costume designer Richard Kent, lighting designer Paule Constable, composer and sound designer Adam Cork, casting director Sophie Holland, associate director Bethany West, production manager Kate West, costume supervisor Lisa Aitken and prop supervisor Kate Margretts.
