The sequel to the 2003 film is set to be released on the 8th August.

The film will see Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan reprising their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman. This latest film sees Anna with a daughter of her own and soon -to-be stepdaughter with both Anna and Tess having to navigate the range of challenges as two families are set to merge. But can lightening really strike twice? Absolutely.
As well as Curtis and Lohan, the cast is set to star: Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, Chad Michael Murray, Vanessa Bayer, and Mark Harmon.
The film is based on the book Freaky Friday by Mary Rodgers and is produced by Kristin Burr, p.g.a., Andrew Gunn, p.g.a., and Jamie Lee Curtis, with Nathan Kelly, Ann Marie Sanderlin, and Lindsay Lohan serving as executive producers.
