Emerald Fennell’s take on Emily Brontë’s classic novel is set to be released in cinemas on the 14th February 2026.
A teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming new film version of Wuthering Heights, starring Margot Robbie as Catherine and Jacob Elordi and Heathcliff respectively.
Written as well as directed by Emerald Fennell, the supporting cast includes: Hong Chau, Martin Clunes and breakout star Owen Cooper.
Based on the 1847 novel by Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights follows the tumultuous relationship between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff.
The novel has seen numerous adaptations over the years including William Wyler’s 1939 film and Andrea Arnold’s 2011 version.
This adaptation of the story will feature music composed by Anthony Willis and original songs by Charli XCX. The cinematography by Linus Sandgren. It is produced by Fennell, Margot Robbie and Josey McNamara.
Filming for Wuthering Heights took place on location in the Yorkshire Dales as well as at Sky Studios Elstree, in Hertfordshire.
