NEWS: New Casting Confirmed for  Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular

In addition to announcing its fourth extension, the show will be welcoming new members to the company this autumn ahead of its first anniversary in London.

Among those joining the cast will be Anoushka Tandon-Sangar, who will make her professional debut in the lead role of Max, a shy circus enthusiast discovering her true potential international circus performers Tara Talland (NoFit State, Troupe Vertigo, Revel Puck Circus), Ebony Gumbs (NCCA), Sam Barnes, and Nathan Briscoe, who joins from Cirque du Soleil.

In addition, Kai Hou, who holds the Guinness World Record for most back handsprings in a minute and has performed with Cirque du Soleil, is set to take over the role of ringmaster.

Returning cast members are set to include: Dean Murrell, Jimmy Wong, Bella Diosa, Eric McGill, Josephine Urry, Jackie Le, Antino Pansa, Tybald Griesbacher, Roman Karpovich, Sam Nash, Keiron the Mighty and Shona Morgan.

The singing line up is set to include Maia Hawkins, Greg Oliver (The David Bowie ShowThe Rock’n’Roll Alien), and Deshawn Gordon, with Simon Bailey continuing in the role of he Showman alongside Whitney Martins and Giovanni Spano. Meanwhile, the dance ensemble will welcome Rachel Gardiner, Ethan Brenchley and Elliott Brady, who will join Emma-Louise Stansall, Maisie Axton, Genie Gledhill, Mia Jayne, Ebby Sama and Ross Wilkins.

Come Alive! The Greatest Showman is inspired by the 20th Century Fox motion picture The Greatest Showman and features the music of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

The show has been conceived and directed by Drama Desk Award-winning creative director Simon Hammerstein (The BoxQueen of the Night, Usher’s My Way Las Vegas residency). The creative team also includes: music producer and Olivier Award nominee Matthew Brind (Paddington 2Just For One DayLegally Blonde), choreographers Jerry Reeve (Taylor SwiftPlatinum Jubilee Party at the Palace) and Lukas McFarlane (Strictly Come DancingSo You Think You Can Dance?), Emmy Award-nominated lighting designer Adam Bassett for Woodroffe Basset Design (The Rolling Stones, London 2012 Olympics, Adele), set designer Ruby Law (Billie Eilish, Sadler’s Wells), costume designer Susan Kulkarni (The PeripheralDirty Dancing – Secret Cinema), art director Mika Handley (Aladdin – West End, Guardians of the Galaxy – Secret Cinema), with casting by Pearson Casting (Starlight ExpressSix).
