NEWS: Glide at Battersea Power Station Announces 2025 Return

Situated by the Thames River, Glide at Battersea Power Station is returning this November and will this year also be introducing London’s first ever scenic ice-skating trail.

Running for eight weeks only, Glide at Battersea Power Station features three interlinking ice rinks and this year a brand-new riverside skate trail has been unveiled giving skaters of all levels ample space and time to showcase their skills.  

Meanwhile, the ice rink will be surrounded by 30ft decorated Christmas trees to add to the festive vibe.

Also returning this year is the Glass House Bar, a place to warm up or to wind down after a skating experience. Alongside Made of Dough pizza, tasty bar snacks, and a wide range of drinks, guests can indulge in Chocomel hot chocolates, Prime Time award-winning low calorie beers, Roebuck Estates vintage sparkling wines, and a tempting line-up of festive cocktails. 

Open to both skaters and non-skaters throughout the season, The Glass House will also feature a lively programme of entertainment, from KISS DJ sets to lively acoustic music sessions with Prime Time and hands-on masterclasses. With its transparent walls and ceiling, The Glass House offers a magical place to soak up the festive atmosphere and take in views of the iconic Battersea Power Station—all while staying cosy inside. 

Visitors can also relax in the warmth of the private hire Igloos with thanks to Air Canada. Situated just outside The Glass House, these stylish igloos offer the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the surroundings in comfort and style.

Also on site is a a vintage carousel, shelter skelter, and—new for this year—onsite darts and curling, alongside returning favourites like the colours game and tin can alley. 

Surrounding the ice rink, there is a range of places to eat and shop to make it a day out for the whole family. Places to eat include: uck and Rice, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, Roti King, Wright Brothers, Searcys Champagne Bar, Dishoom, wagamama, Sticks ‘n’ Sushi, El Pastor and 1950s style all-day bar Control Room B.

In terms of Christmas shopping, visitors can head to shops such as: Boots Beauty, Space NK, Massimo Dutti, Mango, Borough Kitchen, LEGO®, ME+EM, Jo Malone London,  lululemon, Reiss, Uniqlo and Jigsaw, as well as small independents including Curated Makers and Lone Design Club.
