Metal Rabbit Productions will present the major revival of the play at the Islington based theatre from the 19th February until the 22nd March 2026.

Directed by Simon Paris (of the award-winning …Earnest?), the production will reunite Paris with Abigail Thorn who will be taking the lead role in this production. Thorn’s credits include appearances in HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon and Disney’s Star Wars: The Acolyte. Further casting has yet to be announced.
Sophie has just lost a parent. So has Jonah. Sophie has just inherited quite a lot of money. So has Jonah. After a series of uncanny coincidences, the pair find themselves living on top of one another, in two small flats in Leytonstone. Then on a whim, Sophie mails Jonah a baby monitor connected to her flat. And he starts to watch her. Reading. Playing video games. Eating. Watching TV. Without ever coming face to face, something almost like love starts to bloom between them.
The show is produced by Metal Rabbit Productions, which was formed in 2012 and has produced quality new work in London, on tour in the UK and in New York, garnering multiple OffWestEnd and Broadway World award nominations. Among the previous productions the company has produced includes: Boy Parts (Soho Theatre), The Misandrist (Arcola Theatre), The Prince (Southwark Playhouse), Mediocre White Male (Kings Head Theatre & Park Theatre), Spiderfly (Theatre503), We’re Staying Right Here and Fishskin Trousers (Park Theatre).
Talking about the news, director Simon Paris said: “Ever since I first saw Blink, it’s stuck with me. I love the tension the play holds, walking a tightrope between tenderly nice and unsettlingly creepy. As a continuation of my work as a theatre-maker, it’s the perfect piece to explore the relationship between audience and performer. On a personal note, I’ve wanted to work with Abi in a directing capacity since she first participated in some acting workshops I ran back in 2018.”
