NEWS: Complete Casting Confirmed for Priscilla Queen of the Desert UK & Ireland Tour

The full cast has now been confirmed for the upcoming UK & Ireland tour of Priscilla Queen of the Desert which is based on the hit 1994 film.

As already confirmed,  Adèle Anderson will play the role of Bernadette, while joining her are Kevin Clifton as Tick/Mitzi, Nick Hayes as Felicia/Adam, and Peter Duncan as Bob/Preache.

They will be joined by Dakota Starr  as alternate Bernadette, Leah Vassell as Diva 1, Bernadette Bangura as Diva 2, Jessie May as Diva 3 and Shirley, Gary Lee as Miss Understanding, Billie Hardy  as Marion, Isabella Glanzing Santos  as Cynthia, Sario Solomon  as Jimmy, Jak Allen-Anderson  as Farrah/Young Bernadette, and Alexander Emery  as Frank.

The ensemble will be completed by Michael Afemaré, Tia Antoine-Charles, Olivia Bella, Alexander Gage, Fionan O’Carroll, Nathan Ryles, Samuel Stokes and Mary Suarez.

Directed by Olivier Award-nominated Ian Talbot OBE with choreography by Olivier Award-winner Matt Cole, the musical follows the adventures of three friends as they travel across Australia in a bus named Priscilla. It features hit songs such as ‘Hot Stuff’, ‘It’s Raining Men’, ‘I Will Survive’, ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ and ‘Finally’.

The creative team also includes: set and lighting design by Andrew Exeter and costume design by yStrictly Come Dancing’s BAFTA award-winning costume designer Vicky Gill.

Following its run in Manchester, the production will then travel to venues including :  New Victoria Theatre in Woking, King’s Theatre in Glasgow, Liverpool Empire , Mayflower Theatre in Southampton, Birmingham Hippodrome, Norwich Theatre Royal , Theatre Royal in Newcastle, Edinburgh Playhouse, Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham, Aylesbury Theatre, The Marlowe in Canterbury, Grand Opera House in Belfast, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin, Theatre Royal in Brighton, Curve Theatre in Leicester, Alhambra Theatre in Bradford and Hall for Cornwall in Truro.
