Suzie Miller’s award-winning play is heading to the big screen.
The cast joining Cynthia Erivo (who is also producing the film) in the upcoming film adaptation of Prima Facie, directed by Susanna White has been announced.
Adapted for film by Suzie Miller, the film is also set to star: Daniel Ings (The Gentlemen), Elizabeth Dulau (Andor), Noma Dumezweni, Toheeb Jimoh, Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful), Sarah Junillon (Red Eye), Elliot Levey, and Simon Russell Beale.
Prima Facie follows the story of a successful barrister whose life is changed completely after an experience involving sexual assault.
The film has wrapped up the filming and a release date has yet to be announced.
Suzie Miller’s play first appeared in the West End in 2022, starring Jodie Comer and produced by Empire Street Productions.
