Pixar has now released a teaser trailer for the upcoming instalment of Toy Story, set to be released in cinemas on the 26th June 2026.
This new trailer introduces a new arrival and threat to playtime. This latest character to be added to the group? A smart tablet called Lilypad, who is voiced by Past Lives and Tron: Ares star Greta Lee.
Greta Lee joins Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack are among the returning voice cast while Conan O’Brien will also join as a toilet training tech assistant called Smarty Pants.
This latest film in the series was confirmed in 2023, following on from Toy Story 4 released in 2019 which ended with Woody leaving Buzz and the gang for and adventure with Bo Peep.
Toy Story 5 is co-directed by Andrew Stanton and McKenna Harris, with Stanton also writing the screenplay.
