NEWS: Anna Ziegler’s ‘Evening All Afternoon’ to Have World Premiere at The Donmar Warehouse

It has been announced that Anna Ziegler’s new play Evening All Afternoon will make its world premiere at the Donmar Warehouse next year.

The production is set to be directed by Diyan Zora who will be making her Donmar debut. It is set to star Anastasia Hille as Jennifer and Erin Kellyman making her stage debut as Delilah.

Jennifer is about to become Delilah’s stepmother. She wants so badly to connect, but they couldn’t be further apart.

In a world that’s shifting under their feet, both women have to summon the quiet courage it takes to open their hearts again.

Officially set to open at the Donmar on the 24th February, the creative team behind the production is set to include: Designer: Basia Bińkowska; Lighting Designer: Natasha Chivers; Composer and Sound Designer: Adam Cork and Casting Director Lotte Hines CDG.

Anna Ziegler’s work has been stage across the globe, with her play Photograph 51 having  premiered in the West End at the Noël Coward Theatre in a production starring Nicole Kidman, and then been produced around the world—including at the Cameri Theater of Tel Aviv, Melbourne Theatre Company, Teatro Eliseo in Rome, and the Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg. Ziegler has written the screenplay for the film adaptation, which will be directed by Academy Award-winner Tom Hooper and produced by Leviathan Productions, Red Yes Studio and FilmNation Entertainment. Her most recent play, The Janeiad, premiered last season at The Old Globe and The Alley Theatre. It was a finalist for the 2025 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize and received a Steinberg/ATCA New Play Award Citation.
