NEWS: Michael Ball Announces New Album & UK Tour

Michael Ball has announced  a new solo album of original material for 2026 – ‘Glow’ which will be released early next (release date to be confirmed).

In addition, he will be performing songs from the album live in a newly announced UK tour, set to begin on the 26th August 2026. Starting in Cambridge, the tour will see the singer performing in venues across the country including Liverpool, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham, Bournemouth, and London’s iconic London Palladium on the 1st October. Tickets are on sale now.

Talking about the news, Michael Ball said: “There’s probably only one thing I enjoy more than being in the studio — writing, producing, and singing songs with people I love — and that’s taking it all out on the road and performing those songs as well as all the old favourites to the audiences I love. I hope you enjoy the new album, and I hope you come to see us on tour next year. It’s going to be an exciting year, and I can’t wait to see you all.”

During his career to date, Michael Ball has performed as a diverse range of characters on stage including: Javert in Les Misérables – The Staged Concert (Gielgud Theatre & UK / Australia Arena Tour) Anatoly in Chess (ENO/Coliseum), Mack in Mack and Mabel (Chichester/UK Tour), Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd (West End) for which he won the Olivier Award for ‘Best Actor in a Musical’ and Edna Turnblad in Hairspray (Original West End Cast) for which he won the Olivier Award for ‘Best Actor in a Musical’.
