The event celebrating musical theatre will return to ExCeL London in 2026.
It has been announced that Musical Con will return to London’s ExCeL in 2026, taking place at the venue on the 17th and 18th October 2026.
Returning its 5th anniversary celebrations, Musical Con celebrates the very best of musical theatre, from the West End and Broadway to blockbuster movie musicals. Early bird tickets are available at £45 for a day ticket and £75 for the weekend.
The 2025 event included appearances from original cast members of Starlight Express, a joint performance of “As Long As He Needs Me” by Shanay Holmes and Kerry Ellis, concert sets from Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney, and reunions from casts including Bonnie & Clyde, Clueless and Heathers.
It has been announced that the 2026 edition will feature the biggest opening and
closing ceremonies Musical Con has ever staged.
Talking about the news, Co-founder Shanay Holmes, who has recently completed her run as Nancy in Oliver! said: ” There are so many things that make this event unique, but it’s the fans who make it magical. Musical Con is such a joyous, inclusive space where the entire community comes together – it is their home, the place where they belong, and we are incredibly proud of that. Five years is an amazing milestone, and we’re going to give it the celebration it truly deserves!”
