NEWS: Titanique to Open on Broadway in 2026

It has been announced that Titanique, the musical spoof based on the 1997 film will head to Broadway next spring playing at the St. James Theatre from the 26th March until the 12th July.

Winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, this global splash hit reimagines Jack and Rose’s timeless love story aboard the ship of dreams through the French-Canadian eyes of someone who was totally there: Céline Dion! (Not the real Céline — but she would approve.) The superstar singer remembers the doomed romance with more shocking twists, mega-diva antics, and face-melting vocals belting her favourite hit songs – and not even an iceberg can stop her.

In addition it has been confirmed that co-creator Marla Mindelle (Sister Act, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella) is set to reprise her Lortel Award-winning turn as Céline Dion on Broadway – a role she originated Off-Broadway, where the musical played three-year run until June 2025.

Meanwhile, co-creator Tye Blue (“RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Rumer Willis’ Over the Love Tour) will direct the Broadway production. The show was also created by  Constantine Rousouli.

The creative team also includes choreographer Ellenore Scott (Ragtime, Funny Girl, Little Shop of Horrors); Music Supervisor, Arranger, and Orchestrator Nicholas James Connell; Scenic Designer Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher for Iron Bloom Creative Production; Lucille Lortel Award-winning Costume Designer Alejo Vietti (Beautiful, Smash), Lighting Designer Paige Seber; Sound Designer Lawrence Schober; and Drama Desk Award-winning Hair & Wig Designer Charles G. LaPointe (Death Becomes Her). Casting is by The Telsey Office/Rachel Hoffman, CSA, and General Management is by ShowTown Theatricals.

While additional casting has yet to be announced, tickets will go on general sale on the 12th January 2026.
