Love London Love Culture’s Theatre Picks: February 2026

Currently in previews at the theatre, Carrie Cracknell’s production of Tom Stoppard’s play is set to officially open on the 4th February. Set two centuries apart, the play is story of seeking truth and proof. The cast includes Gabriel Akuwudike as Richard Noakes, Fiona Button as Lady Croom and Angus Cooper as Valentine Coverly. It will run at the Old Vic until the 21st March.

The Park Theatre revives Noel Coward’s play, which has been reimagined by Bill Rosenfield and directed for this production by Kirsty Patrick Ward. Running until the 14th March, it tells the story of a married couple who are both equally ambitious in their careers, but when one becomes more successful than the other it has a massive impact on their marriage…

In a time in which we need of a bit of cheering up, Elle Woods is here to save the day as the musical based on the hit 2001 film heads out on tour. Directed by Nikolai Foster, the production will open at the Curve in Leicester on the 7th February.

For those who are looking for a family friendly show and their kids are a fan of the book by Maz Evans, then add a visit to the Polka Theatre to the list. Playing from the 7th February until the 22nd March, this musical adaptation (suitable for those aged 8-13) follows Elliot who needs to save the world and his mum with the help of some epic gods!

Cynthia Erivo plays all of the characters in Kip Williams’s technically ambitious take on Bram Stoker’s classic vampire tale. It is only running for a limited time and it is certain that tickets will sell like hot cakes given the success of Kip Williams’s previous production of The Picture of Dorian Gray.

The Hampstead Theatre will be presenting the world premiere of Alexi Kaye Campbell’s latest play, which explores the the story of Mary Ann Evans – also known as the author George Eliot. Running from the 13th February until the 21st March, the production features a stellar cast including Owen Teale and Elizabeth Dulau.

Returning to London in a new production from the 6th February until the 5th April, this musical parody dives into the story of the infamous Disney villainess to offer a different side to the character. Please note that the age recommendation is 16+ given the nature of the show!

The classic thriller film heads to the stage from next month, opening at Devonshire Park in Eastbourne. It is set to star Mischa Barton, who will be making her UK theatre debut in the production.

Fresh off its successful West End run, this musical adaptation of the beloved 2004 film, Mean Girls the Musical is heading out on tour! Staring at Manchester’s Opera House, the cast includes Emily Lane as Cady Heron, Vivian Panka as Regina George, Sophie Pourret as Karen Smith, Georgie Buckland as Janis Sarkisian and Faye Tozer as Ms Heron/Ms Norbury/Mrs George.

Anastasia Hille and Erin Kellyman are set to star in this new play from Anna Ziegler (Photograph 51, The Wanderers), which is directed by Diyan Zora (Olivier Award-nominated English for the RSC, Roots at the Almeida). It follows the story of Jennifer who is about to become Delilah’s stepmother and wants a connection with her – but the two women struggle to unless they are willing to open their hearts. It will run at the Donm,ar Theatre from the 14th February until the 11th April.
