The restaurant in East Dulwich will present the masterclasses in February and March.

KOKUM has announced the launch of a series of Indian cooking masterclasses taking place over the next couple months on the 21st February and 14th of March.
Led by Chef Sanjay Gour, the experience will invite guests into KOKUM’s kitchen to learn how to cook a selection of the restaurant’s signature dishes, before sitting down together to enjoy what they’ve made. Chef Sanjay brings experience from Michelin-starred restaurants including Gymkhana and Murano by Angela Hartnett.
During the cooking class, guests will learn to cook three iconic KOKUM dishes from scratch, with step-by-step guidance from Chef Sanjay. Each guest will also leave with a thoughtfully curated goodie bag filled with essential ingredients, along with printed recipe cards to help them recreate the dishes at home.
The multi-course menu for the February masterclasses focuses on balancing flavours in a Beetroot Tikki, mastering tempering for a Dal Tadka, and achieving a rich well-rounded gravy in a Goat Curry. The March masterclasses build on these techniques through learning to cook firm favourite dishes including Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka, and Aloo Chaat.
Priced at £110 per person, this is the first masterclass available at KOKUM and is ideal for those who are food lovers, adventurous home cooks, or anyone wishing to deepen their knowledge of Indian cuisine.
