The restaurant based in East Dulwich has launched its South Asian twist on a British classic.

KOKUM has announced a new Indian roast menu, which will be available for guests every Sunday.
The menu will see guests being able to select from four different roast options all of which are served with roasted spiced potatoes, pickle, naan, papad and salad.
The Tandoori Roast Chicken features chicken, marinated in yoghurt, ginger, garlic, lemon, and aromatic tandoori spices, cooked in the traditional tandoor for a smoky char, and paired with a makhani gravy and raita. The Roast Shank of Lamb is slow-roasted to perfect tenderness, infused with warm spices and aromatics, served with rich nihari gravy.
Meanwhile, for the vegetarian option, the Roast Gobi offers charred cauliflower florets tossed in fragrant spices and roasted until crisp on top and tender within, accompanied by makhani gravy. There is also the option of the Roast Kingfish Steak, marinated in coastal spices and gently roasted in banana leaf, paired with a light creamy coconut gravy.
Each of the roasts including the trimmings are priced between £17 and £25.
In addition, guests are also invited to pair their roast with one of KOKUM’s beers on tap, including Moretti, Amstel, Guinness, and many more.
