The production is transferring from the Theatre Royal Bath, where it has a run last summer as part of the Ralph Fiennes / Theatre Royal Bath Season.
Complete West End casting has now been confirmed for David Hare’s latest play, which is set to begin performances at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from the 24th April and is booking until the 11th July.
As well as Ralph Fiennes and Miranda Raison reprising their roles as stage figures Henry Irving and Ellen Terry, they will be joined by Ruby Ashbourne Serkis and Jordan Metcalfe, also returning to the roles they played in the production last year.
The company will be completed by: Youness Bouzinab, Giulia Innocenti, Tom Kanji, Harriet Leitch, Guy Paul, Chris Porter, Maggie Service, Saskia Strallen and Kathryn Wilder, with Katherine Liley and Sam Perry.
Directed by Jeremy Herrin, the play explores the lives of Henry Irving and Ellen Terry and their children – all of whom were instrumental in the shaping of British theatre.
The creative team also includes: Bob Crowley (set design), Fotini Dimou(costume design), Peter Mumford (lighting design), Elizabeth Purnell (sound design), Akhila Krishnan (video design), Susanna Peretz (wig, hair and make-up design), Paul Englishby (composer) and Lucy Cullingford (movement direction).
