The film is set to be released in cinemas on the 28th August.
Universal Pictures has released a trailer for the upcoming romantic comedy One Night Only, set for release this summer.
Set to star Callum Turner and Monica Barbaro, the film is directed by Will Gluck (Anyone But You), who also re-wrote the script based on based on his rewrite of Travis Braun’s script. Gluck has previously directed rom-com films such as “Easy A” and “Friends With Benefits”.
One Night Only follows the story of Allie and Owen as two single people who crash into each other on the one night of the year that single people are allowed to have sex. But the pair might be the only ones in New York City looking for more than a fling, having met unexpectedly with a spark but due to a series of missteps and side quests complicating their evening together.
As well as Turner and Barbaro, the cast includes Molly Ringwald as Turner’s mother, joined by LeVar Burton as her partner. Maya Hawke, Julia Fox, Este Haim, Ziwe, and King Princess complete the cast.
The film is produced by Gluck and Jacqueline Monetta via their Olive Bridge Entertainment film and television production company.
