The musical will run at the theatre from the 13th June until the 6th September.
Casting has now been announced for the London return of Jack Godfrey and Ellie Coote‘s (42 Balloons) Hot Mess, which will officially open at The Other Palace on the 23rd June.
Returning to the role of ‘Earth’ is Danielle Steers (Just for One Day, Six the Musical, Bat Out of Hell) following her acclaimed performances in the show’s sell-out Edinburgh Fringe premiere and subsequent Southwark Playhouse transfer. Joining the company as ‘Humanity’ is Morgan Gregory, whose recent theatre credits include The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, UK tour, Back to the Future, original West End cast at the Adelphi, 42 Balloons, Lowry, and Newsies, Troubadour Wembley Park.
The company will be completed by Mia Quimpo (Pippin, Upstairs at the Gatehouse) as cover ‘Earth’ and Nathan Shaw (Mamma Mia! The Party, and The Rocky Horror Show UK and International tour) as cover ‘Humanity’.

After working with Morgan on 42 Balloons, we know what an absolute star and unbelievable triple threat performer he is. Together, they’re going to blow the roof off The Other Palace!”
Having had its world premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe last year as well as a run at the Southwark Playhouse, Hot Mess has won a Fringe First Award, the Popcorn Writing Award and Musical Theatre Review’s Best Musical Award.
The production features music supervision and co-orchestrations Joe Beighton, choreography by Alexzandra Sarmiento, set design by Shankho Chaudhuri, lighting design by Ryan Joseph Stafford, audio production and sound design by Paul Gatehouse, costume design by Sarah Mercadé, musical direction by Sara De Sanctis, casting by Pearson Casting CDG and intimacy coordination by Lex Kaby. The dramaturg is Deirdre O’Halloran, with Lydia Cook as Associate Director and Taz Hoesli as Associate Choreographer, Phil Burke as Associate Lighting Designer, Charlie Smith and Richard Pomeroy as Associate Sound Designers, and Ciéranne Kennedy-Bell as Costume Supervisor. Rosie Morgan is Company Stage Manager, with James Anderton as Production Manager and Byron Ladd-Carr as Sound No.1.
