Cast and creative team has been announced for the return of Grindr: The Opera, which will officially open at The Union Theatre on the 26th June.
Directed and choreographed by William Spencer, the cast will include: Patrick Barrett, Oliver Cartwright, Will Joel, Will Loader, Christian Lunn, Kane Verrall and Dereck Walker.
The production also features Book, Music & Lyrics by Erik Ransom.
Grindr The Opera! puts the most notorious gay hook -up app into the exaggerated world of opera. This award winning musical parody takes you on an hilarious and thought provoking journey through the world of gay dating, focusing on the greatest catalyst for the shift : GRINDR.
Featuring a glorious score, witty dialogue and colourful characters, this unique and groundbreaking production explores the impact of technology on human connection and the search for meaningful relationships.
