The production will run at new London theatre The Arts in Marble Arch as well as embarking on a UK tour.
Burlesque the Musical and executive producer Christina Aguilera has announced the three women joining the production of the musical to play the role of Ali when it arrives at the new theatre from the 12th September until the 31st January 2027 and heads out on tour from July.
Stepping into the role will be Natalia Jacques will be performing the role in London this autumn, while Gracie O’Brien will be touring in the role, with Cecilia Petrush as the alternate.

When Ali heads to New York in search of her mother, she finds herself drawn into a dazzling underground world where the beat of the music and the heat of the dance moves will change her life forever. Based on the film starring Christina Aguilera and Cher, the musical features songs by Christina Aguilera, Sia, Diane Warren, Jess Folley, Todrick Hall, and Steven Antin.
Writer/Producer for the show Steven Antin (who also directed the film) said: “I wrote Ali for Christina – she was always my dream to play the role. When Christina brought Ali to life in the film, she created something truly iconic. She gave Ali her voice, her fire, her wit, her vulnerability, and her soul – creating a character audiences around the world fell in love with. Bringing Burlesque from screen to stage is about honouring that legacy while allowing the story to grow in a theatrical, cinematic and emotional way. And now these three exceptional, talented actresses step into those heels – not to imitate Christina, because no one could or should – but to continue the legacy she began and bring their own fabulous magic to Ali.”
