The film is set to be released in cinemas on the 10th July.
A final trailer has now been released for the live action version of Disney’s 2016 film Moana, set to be released next month.
Direted by Thomas Kail, the film is set to star Catherine Lagaʻaia in the title role and Dwayne Johnson returning as demigod Maui. They are joined in the film by John Tui as Chief Tui, Frankie Adams as Moana’s mother Sina and Rena Owen as Gramma Tala.
As with the original film, the story follows Moana as she seeks to restore prosperity to her community with the help of Maui.
This live action film will feature all of the original songs from the animated film including: ‘You’re Welcome’ , ‘How Far I’ll Go’ and ‘I Am Moana’ .
Meanwhile, Dwayne Johnson is among the producers and Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote the tunes for the original film, also listed as a producer. The original Moana, Auliʻi Cravalho, serves as an executive producer.
