The new cast will join the production from the 6th July.

It has been announced that from the 6th July, the long running musical will star: Ian McIntosh as Jean Valjean, Oliver Savile as Javert, Harry Hepple as Thénardier, Mina Anwar as Madame Thénardier, Thiago Phillip Felizardo as Marius, Jess Folley as Éponine, Lucia McLaughlin as Cosette and Joe Griffiths-Brown as Enjolras. Will Callan will play Marius from 17 July to 11 August.
Meanwhile, Stefanie Jones will take on the role of Fantine from 7 September 2026. The company is completed by Joanna Adaran, Madeline Banbury, Nicholas Carter, Tom Carter-Miles, Fergus Dale, Matthew Dale, Zak Devlin, Lily De-La-Haye, Sophie-May Feek, Lyndsey Gardiner, Pablo Gómez Jones, Simi Jolaoso, Seán Keany, Chris Kiely, Sarah Lark, Sarah-Marie Maxwell, Ben Nicholas, William Pennington, Jak Skelly, Lukin Simmonds, Rosie Strobel, Georgia Tapp, Genevieve Taylor, Lee V G, Isobel Vaughan-Palmer, Danny Whelan,and Joey Zerpa-Falcon.
Based on Victor Hugo’s novel, the musical was written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg. It features orchestrations by Stephen Metcalfe, Christopher Jahnke and Stephen Brooker with original orchestrations by John Cameron.
Now booking until March 2027, the creative team behind the production also includes: direction by James Powell and Laurence Connor, designs by Matt Kinley inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo. Costumes are by Andreane Neofitou, Christine Rowland and Paul Wills, lighting by Paule Constable, sound by Mick Potter, projections realised by Finn Ross and Fifty Nine Productions, musical staging by Geoffrey Garratt, and music supervision by Stephen Brooker and Alfonso Casado Trigo.
The music is by Schönberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer and original French text by Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel. Additional material is provided by James Fenton and adaptation by Trevor Nunn and John Caird.
