The tour will open at Woking Theatre on the 25th July.
Casting has now been announced for the upcoming UK tour of Burlesque the Musical, based on the hit film starring Cher and Christina Aguilera.
Fresh from its premiere in the West End, it has been announced that the cast will be led by Faye Brookes as Tess Richarde, the Burlesque club owner played by the legendary Cher in Steven Antin’s iconic Golden Globe-winning and Best Picture-nominated 2010 film.
She will be joining the previously announced Gracie O’Brien who will make her professional stage debut as waitress turned burlesque artist Ali Rose, Ryan Carter (Titanique, Choir of Man) as Sean/Ms Loretta, Davide Fienauri (Kiss of the Spider Woman, Moulin Rouge) as Vince, Tyler Davis (Sunset Boulevard, Back to the Future the Musical) as Jackson, Vanessa Ela Young (The Drifters Girl, Moulin Rouge! the Musical) as Nikki, Macy Dermody Blythe (Dick Whittington) as Queenie and cover Nikki/Ali, Freya Baddeley (professional debut) as Peaches/ensemble/cover Daphne and Queenie, Kizzi Pink Simpson (CIRQUE – The Greatest Show) as Pearl/ensemble/cover Daphne, Leah Pugh (West End Does Christmas) as Daphne, Keith Alexander (Kinky Boots) as Dash/Ensemble, Owen Stringer (Mamma Mia!) as Joe/Trucker/cover Vince, Darnell Mathew-James (Kinky Boots) as Trey/Chardonnay/ensemble/cover Sean and Cecilia Petrush (MJ the Musical) as Alternate Ali. The onstage and off-stage swings and standbys are Callum Rose, Emma Lloyd , Emily Fitton, Rhys West and Alexander O’Reilly.

The musical features a creative team led by Producer, Writer & Creative Director Steven Antin and it is directed by Racky Plews (I‘m Every Woman The Chaka Khan Musical, Green Day’s American Idiot) with choreography by Robin Antin (creator of The Pussycat Dolls).
It features songs by Christina Aguilera, Sia, Diane Warren, Jess Folley, Todrick Hall, and Steven Antin.
