The festival will take place from the 31st July until the 15th August.

Further details have been unveiled for the upcoming Kilburn High Road Festival, which is the culmination of the three year project Kilburn High Road Project which has been celebrating stories and sharing the heritage of the local communities living and working in Kilburn.
The Kilburn High Road Festival features theatre, music, site-specific performances and visual art exhibitions, commencing with Kiln Theatre’s largest community production to date.
The festival is set to begin with performances by the Intergenerational Theatre Company on 31 July and 1 August. Directed by Kane Husbands and Izzy Rabey, it is a production inspired by memories contributed by the 80 local participants aged 6 to 88.
Meanwhile, there will also be visual arts displays including The High Road: Unframed, which was created in collaboration with Action Space and adapted into large-scale outdoor works by designer Christianna Mason. Photographer Roy Mehta’s portrait series Capturing Kilburn will appear in shopfronts, blending contemporary portraits with archival material.
In addition, The Passages project will offer three site-specific experiences along the High Road, written by Marika McKennell, Martha Haidari and Nicole Latchana, each exploring themes drawn from 95 community-submitted stories. A wider exhibition of all 95 stories will be on display at Kiln Theatre.
The Sounf of Kilburn project will celebrate Kilburn’s diverse music traditions by bringing together a new Kilburn House Band to perform live at outdoor locations.
