The film is set to be released in cinemas on the 18th December.
A first full length trailer has been released for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, which will see Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man and Chris Evans as Captain America while Fantastic Four’s Pedro Pascal, X-Men’s Patrick Stewart, Black Panther’s Letitia Wright and Thunderbolts’ Florence Pugh also appear.
This new trailer also offers a first glimpse of Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom. The actor, who previously played Iron Man is now returning to the Marvel film series to play the villain.
Intended to be the the sequel to Avengers: Endgame (2019) and the 39th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the film is is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and written by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely.
This new film is set fourteen months after the events of Thunderbolts and groups of heroes from three different universes—the Avengers, Wakandans, and New Avengers from Earth-616; the Fantastic Four from Earth-828; and the “original” X-Men from a separate universe—converge to face the existential threat of Doctor Doom.
