The film, starring Robert Pattinson as Chris Hansen is set to have its world premiere at this year’s Venice Film Festival.
A new trailer has now been released for the upcoming film ‘Primetime’ which is based on the true story of Chris Hansen, best known for the host of To Catch A Predator, a former US reality series.
Directed by Lance Oppenheim (making his narrative film feature debut), the cast also includes: Merrit Wever, Skyler Gisondo, and Phoebe Bridgers.
Featuring a screenplay by Ajon Singh, based on Luke Dittrich’s 2007 Esquire article, ‘Tonight On Dateline This Man Will Die’, Primetime follows Hansen and his team as they aimed to find and confront adults soliciting youngsters over the internet in televised stings.
Set for release in the US on the 125th September, a UK release date has yet to be confirmed.
Robert Pattinson can currently be seen in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, following his performance in The Drama and upcoming role in Dune Part 3.
