The Royal Shakespeare Company production of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s story has teamed up with the Radisson Blu Edwardian  to create several new ways to enhance your experience of seeing Matilda at the Cambridge Theatre.

In order to celebrate the news, some of the cast from the hit musical were photographed today enjoying the new official Matilda afternoon tea.

Craige Els (Miss Trunchbull) and Haley Flaherty (Miss Honey) were joined by the four actresses who share the role of Matilda to enjoy the tea at the hotel in Mercer Street, just across the road from the Cambridge Theatre.

This exclusive afternoon tea at the hotel is now accepting bookings, with both children and adults able to enjoy a selection of sandwiches, scones and of course deserts! The children’s menu also includes a special Matilda gift…

So far, Matilda the Musical has won fifty awards, including seven Olivier Awards and Four Tony Awards since first appearing in Stratford-upon Avon in 2010, before continuing its remarkable success at the Cambridge Theatre in London from November 2011.
