The Old Vic is preparing for the arrival of Dr Seuss’s The Lorax at the theatre from the 3rd of December until the 16th January 2016 by releasing a brand new video which introduces audiences to The Lorax as well as rehearsal images.
Directed by Max Webster, it is the third production in Matthew Warchus’ opening season as Artistic Director at the Old Vic Theatre.
Inspired by Dr Seuss’s classic tale, the story tells the tale of a cantankerous critter who is on a mission to protect the Earth from the greedy, tree-chopping businessman known as Once-ler.

Adapted for the stage by David Greig, the production combines theatrical invention, songs and zany humour to create a show that delivers a message that speaks to audience members of all ages.

The cast includes Simon Lipkin as The Lorax, Simon Paisley Day as Once-ler, Stuart Angell and Thomas Arnold.
The Lorax will feature designs by Rob Howell, choreography by Drew McOnie, lighting by Jon Clark and music and lyrics by Charlie Fink.
The Lorax opens for previews on the 3rd December with the official opening performance taking place on the 16th December. To book tickets visit: Theatre Tickets Direct.co.uk , Discount Theatre.com , Last Minute.com , Love Theatre.com and Ticketmaster.co.uk .
