The London Musical Theatre Orchestra has confirmed the cast for its Christmas concert performance of Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens hit musical version of A Christmas Carol.

It has been confirmed that Robert Lindsay, Carrie Hope Fletcher and Giovanna Fletcher will be participating in the London Musical Theatre Orchestra’s Christmas concert of Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens take on Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol.

This special staging of the hit Broadway musical will see Robert Lindsay playing the role of Scrooge, alongside Carrie Hope Fletcher performing for the first time alongside her sister-in-law, actress, television personality and vlogger Giovanna Fletcher.

The cast also so far announced includes John Addison,  Madalena Alberto, Hugh Maynard, Peter Polycarpou and Norman Bowman.

This concert performance of the musical will take place on the 19th December at the Lyceum Theatre and will be the first time that it will be seen in London, continuing the London Musical Theatre Orchestra’s dedication to bring lesser known musical scores to a wider audience.

Robert Lindsay’s theatre credits include Oliver, Me and My Girl and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He won the Laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Musical, Winner of Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical (Adelphi Theatre) for his performance in Me and My Girl.

Carrie Hope Fletcher was recently announced to be playing Wednesday Addams in the upcoming UK tour of the Addams Family musical. Her theatre credits also include Eponine in Les Miserables and Truly Scrumptious in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Giovanna Fletcher is an author, mother, actress, blogger, YouTuber and wife to Tom Fletcher from McFly and sister in law to Carrie Hope. Having gained much praise for her vocal abilities when showcasing them online – this will be Giovanna’s first professional concert.
