Andrew Lloyd Webber’s production School of Rock has confirmed that it is now booking at the New London Theatre until the 14th January 2018.
Having opened to strong reviews from critics in November 2016, School of Rock stars David Fynn as Dewey Finn alongside Florence Andrews as Rosalie Mullins, Oliver Jackson as Ned Schneebly and Preeya Kalidas as Patty Di Marco.
Based on the hit film, this hilarious new musical follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band.
Directed by Laurence Connor, School of Rock features a score by Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Glenn Slater as well as music from the original film. The production features a book by Julian Fellowes, choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter and set and costume designs by Anna Louizos.
The cast also features three teams of thirteen young performers who make up Dewey’s band.
Tickets for the new booking period are on sale now.
