It has been announced that the London hotel will celebrate the arrival of spring by transforming the library into a secret English garden.
The room will be filled with peonies, sweet peas, delphiniums, lilacs and English scented country garden roses to give the look and feel of a traditional English garden.
Guests will also be able to choose from a specially created menu of floral dishes, teas and cocktails which includes: marinated Manx scallops adorned with cucumber flowers to blackcurrant and hibiscus tea and cocktails garnished with flowers and flavoured with violet, dandelion, lemongrass and rose – making the most of the edible flowers.
Filled with beautiful flowers displayed by Brown’s Hotel’s resident florist Ellie Hartley, guests will be able to experience the secret garden throughout May.
It was also announced that on Tuesday 16th May, the hotel will be hosting Ruinart champagne tasting and floral masterclass with Ellie Hartley. Guests will be welcomed into the library from 7pm for an evening of champagne and flowers with a bouquet to take home at the end of the evening. Tickets for the event cost £45 per person.
Places for the event are limited and for those wishing to book should email: hlambert@roccofortehotels.com.
