Review Round Up: Wonderland Live, Take That

Take That are back on the road once more, touring in support of their latest album ‘Wonderland’. Here is what critics have been saying about the live show so far:

Wonderland Live

Manchester Evening News: “the surprises continue to come thick and fast because they love to flex their creative muscles.”

The Independent: *** “Any objective observer is going to say that Take That have exceeded all expectations, with Barlow’s business and songwriting nous in particular leading them to one golden age as eager young men and another as the definitive “man band”, a credible regeneration for middle-age and beyond.”

entertainment.ie: **** “Take That’s Wonderland is an explosion of colour and carefully choreographed set-pieces.”

Eastern Daily Press: “This show is truly Take That at their best – a wonderland of visual spectacle and pop classics alike that is not to be missed.”

Birmingham Mail: **** “This is a good show for the diehard fan who knows all their tracks well.”

Celebmix.com: “Take That have delivered another incredible spectacle which is definitely worth witnessing (if you can get your hands on some tickets). Wonderland is certainly the place to be for the next few weeks!”

Sunderland Echo: “You have to hand it to Take That: they know how to put on a real, theatrical show.”

Herald Scotland: “It’s hardly pushing any boundaries, but it’s still a lot of fun.”

Daily Star: “Magical and surprising, Wonderland is a visual feast that just gets curiouser and curiouser.”

Independent.ie: “While this is supposed to be an emotional gallop down memory lane, Take That have a few aces up their sleeves when it comes to the new stuff.”

The Scotsman:**** “Take That’s adventures in Wonderland were a colourful sensory onslaught, a superficial rather than surreal merry-go-round of parades, games and parties with a War of the Worlds-style arena disco soundtrack.”

Take That continue to tour ‘Wonderland’ across the UK until the 16th June. To book tickets visit Ticketmaster.co.uk.
