The Gardening Society at John Lewis Oxford Street has announced Summer of Sound On the Roof will launch on the 5th May.
Inspired by London’s love of music and sound, Summer of Sound on the Roof celebrates the Gardening Society at John Lewis Oxford Street’s makeover. It will be launching with immersive studio spaces curated by revered audio heavyweights Sonos, Ruark Audio and Naim.
Summer of Sound on the Roof will feature live gigs, DJ sets and acoustic music for visitors to celebrate summer in style, right in the heart of London. There will be plenty of food and drink available, thanks to award-winning fried chicken specialists, Butchies, and drinks courtesy of Fever Tree’s Gin & Tonic Garden and Background Bars.
The opening hours for the roof top gardens are as follows:
Sunday – Wednesday 12 noon to 9:00pm (Last service 8:30pm)
Thursday – Saturday 12 noon to 11:00pm (Last service 10:30pm)
Londoners will also be able to book one-hour G&T masterclasses at Fever-Tree every Thursday throughout the season at the cost of £15.
The venue will see the likes of Daudi Matsiko and Slow Club’s Charles Watson performing at the launch party, with Catherine McGrath (May 6) and Harry Jay Steele (May 26) also set to perform during the season.
