The show will begin performances at the iconic London venue on the 9th January 2025.

It has been confirmed that Cirque Du Soleil’s Corteo will arrive in London in 2025, which will see the Royal Albert Hall being reconfigured to host the unique production with a stage that splits the hall into two halves.
Directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, Corteo was first seen in Montreal under the Big Top in April 2005.
Somewhere between heaven and earth, Mauro, a clown is dreaming. Watched on by angels, Mauro dreams of a carnival where a parade of revelers are celebrating his life. Juxtaposing the large with the small, the ridiculous with the tragic and the magic of perfection with the charm of imperfection, the audience are plunged into a theatrically thrilling world celebrating Cirque du Soleil at its best. Beautifully poetic, CORTEO highlights the strength and fragility of the clown, as well as his wisdom and kindness, so as to illustrate the humanity within each of us.
In a Cirque du Soleil first, the stage is central in the arena and divides the venue from the Royal Albert Hall’s organ in a straight line to the door six entrance, with each half of the audience facing the other half, giving a unique perspective not only of the show, but also a performer’s eye view of the audience.
Talking about bringing the production to the Royal Albert Hall, Duncan Fisher, President – Touring Shows, Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group said: “We are thrilled to finally bring Corteo to the Royal Albert Hall. We are very grateful for the collaboration of the Hall’s management team and their members for enabling the presentation of this extremely unique production. The extraordinary work that has gone into splitting the Royal Albert Hall in two halves will allow our audiences to experience one of our best loved productions as it was originally imagined. We cannot wait to present Cirque du Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall as it has never been seen before.”
Meanwhile, Matt Todd, Director of Programming for the Royal Albert Hall commented: “This is our 29th year welcoming Cirque du Soleil to the Royal Albert Hall, and this is the first time that we have been able to reconfigure the Hall like this, dramatically and uniquely changing the whole perspective within the auditorium. It is wonderful for the Hall to be used in this way and will without doubt be one of Cirque du Soleil’s most extraordinary performances.”
